  Nice Max glad you're back up and running. I used wiretap to capture the mp3 from quicktime and was able to sync it up alright but the level is really low. Maybe you can email the mp3 we'll see if that works better. bpurscell@gmail.com

  It was a great song! And "a cup of thee" is a pretty good line for a love song so hang onto it. Believe me, your English is a lot better than my Dutch. (Although I just got a book about the Dutch influence on NYC that's in both languages, so I can compare them at least.)

  You had me TERRIFIED to hit the play button on Trash Train. I think you absolutely nailed it in the first verses. And converting my working title from Thrash Train to Trash Train was an inspiration in terms of giving it a context that would lend itself to writing lyrics. I'll probably return to it later and riff on your concept of the narrator as "bad news" on wheels. Lots of wheels. Max, a truck or a barge full of trash is one thing but a trash TRAIN?...That's A LOT OF TRASH. It's brilliant.
  
  Back when I had a band going we did exactly two cover songs. One was Tom Waits' "What's He Building In There?", which is spoken word so really doesn't count as a song, it was more theatrical than musical. The other was "Trash" by New York Dolls.  I think our collaboration is turning out to be hugely successful. ROCK ON!

  I posted "Thrash Train" as an instrumental. I've tightened up the drums a bit and made the fade a little more palatable. It won't effect anything you've done so far. You should be able to download, cut and paste over whatever you might have done already. You probably won't even notice the changes. http://fawm.org/songs/4008/

  Hey Max- Here's an idea. You take this JohnnyClash venture off my hands (Johnny Cash meets The Clash, and then together they meet The Ventures), you apply lyrics and vocals and we call it a collabloration. What say? The working title is Thrash Train, but that just describes the beat and feel. Forgive the horrible synth bass that you won't be able to hear as I've buried it in the mix. No sweat if you don't want anything to do with it. I'll find some other sucker. Best as I can tell the structure is AABCCABCC (then a little bit of C, A to fade).   It was my pleasure Max. Please accept my apology for my typical american lack of geography knowledge, oof! I should have known better as I live in western Michigan now which has a strong concentration of Dutch here! In fact Holland MI is only 60 miles from me where they have an annual Tulip Festival and celebrate all things Dutch.

  Think it's fixed, Timmy did it so I don't know what was wrong. You're doing pretty well so far...over the hump. We aren't doing so well but have another 4 written so just gotta record them. May even try to get a proper punk song out.

  Hey man, I've dug The Cult for a long time. Love and Electric are two awesome records. I even went back and grabbed one or two Southern Death Cult CD's back in the day. I take that as a huge (undeserved!) compliment. Thanks! Ian Astbury spent some time singing with The Doors, too, which I would've loved to've seen.
